Born and raised in sunny Northern California, Dr. Chang spent her childhood running around in her parent’s restaurant. She understood at an early age the relationship between food, love, and health. Family ailments were always addressed first with nutrition and herbs.
Dr. Chang received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Biology and Psychology at the University of California, Davis. Craving to dive further into holistic internal medicine, she completed her Naturopathic medical training and Masters in Acupuncture and East Asian Herbal Medicine at Bastyr University, Washington.
Dr. Chang’s healthcare philosophy is focused on Docere “Doctor as Teacher” and Tolle Totum “Treat the whole person”, addressing all the layers that could be affecting well-being.
Utilizing both philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western health, Dr. Chang is focused on anti-aging and preventative medicine. Dr. Chang is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP+) and has attended multiple sports events to provide acute medical care. She has also received additional training in IV Nutrient Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation/anti-aging acupuncture and detoxification.
In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys chasing the sun, playing piano, and formulating teas alongside her husband, James, at his tea company.
